OUR STORY
Growing up in Manchester, KY, playing music was an important part of my life. Clay County, buried deep into the Eastern, KY Appalachian mountains, is a place that the New York Times rated as the hardest place in America to succeed from. It has always been my passion to create jobs and futures for the youth who want to remain there. That's where Sounds of Hope comes in - a music charity dedicated to providing opportunities for kids in underprivileged communities to learn, grow, and succeed through music. We offer lessons, mentorship and performance opportunities, and we strive to make a positive impact on the youth we work with in Clay County and beyond.
OUR MISSION
Our Mission is to make a tangible difference in the lives of young people by donating to Sounds Of Hope. We buy or repair donated instruments and provide free music lessons to underprivileged youth in the Eastern KY Appalachian Mountains. By supporting our program, you're not only giving the gift of music but you're also helping to develop confidence, discipline, and creativity in the youth of our community.
